Pricing, Conditions and Ts & Cs

I am based in Tilehurst for local walks and pop-in visits, but I also cover Berkshire, Hampshire, and Oxfordshire for pet sitting.

Your dog will be walked, receive my undivided attention, and not be part of a pack walk. 

I am happy to discuss your needs and arrange to meet your dog, provided they accept me, of course.

I also offer a specialist service as a wedding pet chaperone, a service I love.

Coverage

• Anywhere in the UK, for house sits for more than 24 hours and pet chaperone service.

• Dog walks and pop-in visits - within a 5-mile radius of my house, West Berkshire.

• Short-stay house sits and 24-hour house sit - within a 15-mile radius of Berkshire, South Oxfordshire, North Hampshire   

Payment

Full payment is required to secure a booking (deposits are not taken).

Cancellation Policy:

• Full refund with more than 14 days notice.

• 50% refund with less than 13-5 days notice.

• No refund if 4 days or less notice.

Walks

• 30 minute walk £15  (£5 per extra family dog)

• 60 minute walk £25  (£5 per extra family dog)

Pet Pop-In

The initial base fee for one pet is £15, and within 5 miles from RG31 6SR

Additional fees are layered on for each pet or variable per session

• £5 per extra pet

• £10 extra for a puppy

• This is a 15 to 30 minute pop-in welfare check to ensure food and water and to let the dog outside for a toilet break.

• This is perfect for cats, birds, reptiles, and small animals (hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens).

• Caution: Dogs need exercise, and I recommend a Walk Service unless your pet is on restricted exercise, very elderly, or you are out for less than four hours.

Short stay house sit  

The initial base fee for one pet is £35 per session, including one walk.

This is for up to 7 hours between 8am and 6pm, within 10 miles from RG31 6SR

Additional fees are layered on for each pet or variable per session

• £15 per extra dog

• £20 extra for a pup (8 weeks to 24 weeks)

• £10 extra cat

• £1 per additional mile (round trip)

• £10 for each additional hour (to cover lateness, change of plans and other non-agreed timings)   

Overnight house sit

The initial base fee for one pet is £55 per session, including two walks.

This is for up to 24 hours, with booking start time between 7am to 7pm, within 15 miles from RG31 6SR

Additional fees are layered on for each pet or variable per session

• £15 per extra dog per session

• £20 extra for a pup (8 weeks to 24 weeks)

• £10 extra cat

• £1 per additional mile (round trip)

• £10 for each additional hour (to cover lateness, change of plans and other non-agreed timings)   

Bank Holidays:

• An extra £15 per walk, per session

• An extra £25 per house sit, per session

Additional Services

Equine services within 5 miles from RG31 6SR

• Horse check and feed/hay net £5

• Horse Turn out £5 per visit

• Horse sit starts from £35 for up to six hours, or £55 for each 24 hours 

Dog wash and brush services 

(you must have an outside tap or bath, provide towels and soap)

• Small dog £25

• Medium dog £35

• Large dog £45

Terms and Conditions

Ensure a collar, lead, or harness is available so I can walk your dog.

Pet Health

• Please advise me immediately of any changes to your pet’s health.

• I will contact you before and during your paid service so that you know everything is okay. 

• I have completed a dog first aid training course and can only help in that capacity. If your dog requires urgent medical attention, I will seek advice from your local Vet. Their fees are your responsibility and are not included in my fee. I will endeavour to contact you first, but if I cannot, then I must make that decision at that time in the best interests of your dog.‍

• Please ensure you are up to date with your pet’s vaccinations, including fleas and worms.‍

Photos

• I will be taking photos on my smartphone and sending them to you so that you can see everything is okay. Please let me know if this is a distraction and if I should stop or send fewer. These are not professional photos.

• Unless advised otherwise, I would like to use the photos for my social media. I do not disclose personal information and am sensitive to professional photographers' commercial services.

• Please do share any photos on my social media, as this is also a small way to advertise my services.

My Promise To You

• As a dog and pet owner, I know they are part of the family, which is how this service was born.    I want to provide the best possible care whilst looking after your dog, so everything is planned for a pawfect and stress-free service.

• I have an enhanced DBS check and business and public liability insurance and am pet first aid trained. It is my responsibility to keep these up to date. 

• Ongoing personal and professional training includes pet nutrition, pet massage, pet reiki, grooming, pet psychology, clicker and reward base training.

By accepting my services and making your payment, you are happy to enter into a formal agreement with me, as outlined in this document.
